What to expect
Text, images and page layout are converted together. Fonts and complex formatting may differ from your Office editor; check your PDF before sharing.
Macros in Office 97–2003 files are not run. Embedded objects and very old files from before Office 97 may be omitted or refused.
Large documents may exceed your device’s available memory. If conversion fails, try a smaller document or another device.

A practical guide
DOC to PDF before the document changes hands
- Upload the DOC file produced by the older template.
- Convert it so the layout is fixed for review and sign-off.
- Check numbering, tables and page breaks before forwarding.
Try this example
Convert a three-page DOC purchase request with an approval table; confirm the table and the approver names stay on page two before sending it on.
Before you start: Macros and form automation in the DOC are ignored, and a font your device lacks can be substituted, moving some line breaks.
