How we handle your data

Rotate PDF

Correct the page orientation of a scan by turning all pages or chosen positions 90°, 180° or 270° clockwise, then pass on a copy that reads upright.

A practical guide

Keep the scan in order while fixing its orientation.

  1. Preview the scanned pages and note which positions need turning.
  2. Enter those positions or choose all pages, then set the clockwise angle.
  3. Rotate and inspect the latest PDF result.

Try this example

A two-sided form was scanned with the reverse side upside down at position 2. Select page 2 and turn it 180°; page 1 stays as it was.

Before

  • 1: front upright
  • 2: back upside down

After

  • 1: front upright
  • 2: back upright
Correct the reverse side without changing the two-page sequence. Illustrative example.

Before you start: Choose a quarter-turn that matches the preview. Rotation does not deskew tilted content inside a scanned page.

What you get

Rotate all pages or selected document positions by 90, 180 or 270 degrees clockwise. Existing rotation is taken into account; page count and order do not change.

Limits and important details

This changes page orientation, not the angle of a tilted scan inside a page. It does not compress or improve image quality. Preview pages shows the source; Preview latest PDF shows the result.

Example

Leave Pages as all for the whole document, or enter 2, 4-6 and choose the angle. You can also select pages in the preview. Original files remain available.
