Your files stay on your device

File processing runs in your browser. Documents are not uploaded to our servers. The site may download processing engines and send usage or feedback events without file contents.

How we handle your data

Excel to PDF

Convert an XLSX tracking sheet into a PDF for a workflow handoff, with each sheet scaled to one page width so columns stay together. Your file stays in your browser.

Choose your document

Choose an XLSX file and convert it to PDF. The first conversion prepares the local Office engine and may take a moment; the next file on this page is faster.

Local limit: 10 MiB per document

Choose a document, then convert it to PDF.

Processing happens on this device. Keep this tab open until your PDF is ready.

Try an example

Two sheets, with a total of 148.50 on the first sheet and Notes on the second.

Download sample XLSX

Select the downloaded sample and convert it. Two sheets, with a total of 148.50 on the first sheet and Notes on the second.

What to expect

Text, images and page layout are converted together. Fonts and complex formatting may differ from your Office editor; check your PDF before sharing.

Sheet print areas, orientation and page breaks determine the PDF layout. Each sheet is scaled to fit one page width; long sheets continue on further pages. Very wide sheets become small — set print areas in your spreadsheet editor for larger text.

Large documents may exceed your device’s available memory. If conversion fails, try a smaller document or another device.

Help with conversion

The converter does not start

Check your connection while the converter prepares itself, then retry. This converter needs a modern browser and sufficient memory.

My document could not be converted

Open the document in your editor and save a new XLSX copy. Password-protected, damaged or unsupported files may fail. The input limit is 10 MiB and the PDF output limit is 20 MiB.

Processing takes too long

Preparing the converter stops after two minutes; conversion stops after one minute. You can cancel during processing and restart with a smaller document.

A practical guide

Hand off the sheet without split columns.

  1. Upload the XLSX file used in the workflow.
  2. Convert it; every sheet fits one page width.
  3. Check row counts and totals before sending the PDF onward.

Try this example

Convert a two-sheet XLSX task tracker with 20 rows on the first sheet; confirm all 20 rows and their status column appear before forwarding the PDF.

Before you start: Rows continue onto extra pages for a long sheet, and a sheet with very many columns can print with small text once fit to one page width.
